About Mesa Ridge
I’m Lucas Ferguson, owner of Mesa Ridge Bookkeeping and a Grand Junction native. I’m a graduate of Colorado Mesa University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Economics, and have spent the past seven years working in banking and finance. I started Mesa Ridge to provide small business owners with reliable, straightforward bookkeeping and local service they can trust.
My bookkeeping experience began twelve years ago, giving me firsthand experience with the financial side of running a small business. I also serve as Board President of Kids Aid after three years as Treasurer, and I serve on the Finance Committee for Grand Junction Housing Resources.
Those experiences have shaped how I approach bookkeeping: keep things accurate, organized, easy to understand, and useful to the person running the business.

Already using a payroll provider? Perfect.
Mesa Ridge Bookkeeping will record and reconcile payroll activity from your payroll provider to ensure wages, payroll taxes, benefits, and related transactions are accurately reflected in your books.
We do not calculate wages, run payroll, make payroll tax deposits, or file payroll tax returns. Payroll processing remains with your chosen payroll provider.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Accurate tracking of money coming in and going out.
We record customer invoices, customer payments, vendor bills, and bill payments to keep your accounts payable and accounts receivable balances accurate and up to date.
This service includes recordkeeping only. Mesa Ridge Bookkeeping does not issue invoices, collect customer payments, pay vendor bills, or initiate payments.
